Thanks for being here with me at Livejournal all these time!
Been here for years, loving this cosy family of LJ users and even had the pleasure
to meet up with a few and we're now friends! 
With a new space and new layout, I do hope to post more regularly,

improve in taking better photos capturing beautiful memories of me and my friends,

and of course, bringing you along my delicious food adventures!

 My boyfriend introduced to me this bakery located at Wilkie Terrace.
It's call Cupcakes & Bakes. He bought me some to try the other day.

I really love the red velvet cupcake! Just the right amount of moisture!
Easter egg and ingredients brought back from France by the chef herself!


Decided to drop by on a Sunday to check it out. It's quite a small store. It's mainly for take-aways as
there are not much space to sit in and no beverages to go along. Minimalistic concept focusing
on the goodness of the bake goods. 

This caught my eye. Super pretty!
I think it's time for Singapore to catch up on pretty packagings.
We are SO BEHIND Japan. Every thing is beautifully packed in Japan!






It was my boyfriend's friend birthday so he decided to ordered a customised cake from them.

Backtrack a little. Prior to cake cutting, we had dinner at Todai, Marina Bay Sands.
Once I entered, it was utter disappointment. I was expecting a little erm quieter, dimmer,
bigger tables, more space between tables since it's located at MBS. It feels like Sakura buffet.
Crowded, noisy, a lot of kids. The food was decent but nothing spectacular or memorable
for me to go back again. I currently can only recalled that I love the top shell and tempura prawns lol!

Well, just one picture. Too hungry and crowded to take anything nice.

Half way through, I was so full that I was gonna explode.
Therefore, no photo of the cakes and chocolates... 10 in total omg.

Impressed with iMac's camera!! Just bought an iMac and I'll never look
at windows again unless I have too. Mac totally wins hand down in every aspect!
Only bummer is Photoscape is not supported. I will wait patiently for it!

To critics and cynics, I might sound like an Apple airhead blindly charging towards
Apple products but come on. Apple products improve life. At least for me. The specifications
and technology are for real. Personally, I cannot imagine and already are overly reliant
on my iPhone. I had a shuffle (I have to say, rather silly product cos there was no screen last time),
2 iPod nano which doesn't seem to spoil after so many years and falls. I guess what makes
me love Apple products is the simplicity of use and design.

Just a quick question, how many different Nokia/Samsung/Panasonic chargers are people using
in the office? And how many chargers does Apple's phone/music devices need?

JUST ONE throughout the years of launching newer products.
And we all know how important chargers are :)

Lunch date with my boyfriend at the newly opened cafe, A.venue @ Cineleisure.
I like it's location. At Fred Perry's floor, high up above the noisy crowded lower floors!


I had the pasta. Very impressed with the freshness and generosity of the seafood!
However, I wished I order the pork. It was SO DELICIOUS!!!! JUICYYYYYY!!

17 May 2011 - Monday
A great deal of effort and planning was invested to make our darling Geneii's birthday a success!
Everything was kept hush hush to him. Pretty easy job since he is always flying!
Luckily he was back in Singapore for his birthday!

We were deciding on a couple of boutique hotels and we decided on Wangz Hotel.
No regrets! The room is HUGE! The bath room and toiletries are fantastic.

Went to Bebe's place to prepare the cupcakes and brought it over to the hotel.
All of us reached before him then my boy and I drove back to the east to pick him up.

*Pretty impressed with my customization of the champagne flutes~~


Funniest thing was, when he was in the room, he still had NO IDEA which hotel he's in. LOL!

Kick start the party with some snacks and yummy potato salad and peanut butter crisp made by Shan!
Not forgetting bubbly too ;)


Time for dinner and we walked over to Por Kee for zi char.


Zi char and steamboat always feels like such a family affair!



Back to the hotel and fooled around a while...
